What is Chrysin Powder?
Chrysin powder is a fine powder with the flavonoid compound chrysin (5,7-dihydroxyflavone) as the main active ingredient. It is usually extracted, purified, and dried at low temperature from natural plant materials such as poplar bark, orosil, and propolis. It appears as a blue-yellow to blue-white crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water and easily soluble in dilute alkaline solutions or ethanol. It has a molecular formula of C11H10O4, a molecular weight of 254.23 and a CAS number of 480-40-0. Due to its natural origin and relatively low toxicity and side effects, chrysin powder is widely used in functional foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical intermediates. In recent years, it has become a hot natural active ingredient that has gained national and international attention in recent years.

Benefits of chrysin powder
Antioxidant and anti-aging effects
Chrysin powder can significantly reduce MDA levels by scavenging free radicals, increasing the activity of endogenous antioxidant enzymes such as SOD and GSH-Px, thus inhibiting cell oxidative damage and increasing skin elasticity and radiance.
Support against tumors and cancer
Extensive in vitro and animal studies have shown that chrysin can inhibit the proliferation of various cancer cells, induce apoptosis of cancer cells, reverse multidrug resistance, and protect normal tissues from damage induced by radiation and chemotherapy.
Anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects
Chrysin powder can inhibit inflammatory signaling such as NF-κB, COX-2, and iNOS, and reduce the levels of pro-inflammatory factors such as TNF-α and IL-6. It is indicated for conditions such as autoimmune encephalomyelitis, arthritis, and inflammation of the skin.
Heart Disease Cure
By dilating blood vessels, lowering blood lipids, and inhibiting platelet aggregation, chrysin powder may help reduce the risk of atherosclerosis and improve clinical indicators in patients with hypertension and hyperlipidemia. Neuroprotection and Spinal Cord Protection Studies have shown that chrysin can alleviate cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury and improve neuronal survival. It can also reduce liver levels of free fatty acids, triglycerides, and cholesterol, improving non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
Increasing Testosterone Levels
Chrysin may inhibit aromatase activity, reducing the conversion of testosterone to estrogen, thereby maintaining or increasing serum testosterone levels. It has promising applications in sports nutrition and human health.

How to Take Chrysin Powder?
Recommended dosage
Adult:0.5–1.0 g/day for daily health maintenance; 1.0–3.0 g/day for additional anticancer or immunomodulatory use. Dose adjustments for specific populations (such as athletes or those undergoing endocrine surgery) should be made under the guidance of a physician.
Dosage • Directly with warm water:
Dissolve the desired amount of chrysin powder in 100–200 ml of warm water below 40°C and drink on an empty stomach or 30 minutes after meals.
• Use empty capsules to avoid bitter taste and ease of handling.
• Take with honey or fruit juice to improve taste and tolerance in some.
• Take with black pepper extract (piperine) to increase bioavailability and improve absorption.
