Coriolus Versicolor Extract Glucan

Coriolus Versicolor Extract Glucan is a type of polysaccharide extracted from the fruiting body or mycelium of Yunzhi (also known as colorful coriolus, Varroa), with a main chain of β-(1→3) and a side chain of β-(1→6), and a molecular weight of about one million. Different extraction processes can be divided into "intracellular polysaccharides" and "extracellular polysaccharides": the former carries a little protein, and the latter is basically pure sugar chains. It has been repeatedly verified in the laboratory and clinically that this type of polysaccharide can bind to the Dectin-1 receptor on the surface of immune cells, calling macrophages, T cells, and NK cells to work like a key opening a door, so it is called a "natural immune booster".

In Europe, the United States, and Japan, the pet nutrition community has made Yunzhi glucan a hot ingredient in "immune nutrition" for dogs and cats:

Improve the anti-tumor ability of dogs: For dogs with mast cell tumors and malignant melanoma, daily supplementation of Yunzhi glucan (about 50 mg/kg) converted by body weight can prolong survival and improve quality of life.

Relieve chemotherapy side effects: Yunzhi polysaccharide can be used in combination with conventional chemotherapy drugs to reduce bone marrow suppression and gastrointestinal reactions, and improve appetite and weight maintenance rate.
